Jersey's Citizens Advice Bureau

Post by GD on Thu 12 Jun 2008, 1:12 pm

Fewer islanders are seeking help for debt problems from Jersey's Citizens Advice Bureau.

Just over sixteen hundred people asked for help. That's compared to more than two thousand the year before.

Bureau Manager Francis Le Gresley says Jersey's bucked the trend of the UK when it comes to debt.

But overall more islanders contacted Citizens Advice - with email enquiries almost doubling.

Questions about separations and divorce, employment rights and legal aid are among the most common. (channel 103)

Sounds like they are richer in Jersey than Guernsey..lol
