Island unemployment on the rise
The number of unemployed people looking for work in Jersey has gone up by 92 in the space of a month.
The latest figures for November put the total registered with the social security department as actively seeking work at 1,089.
Most of the jobseekers in the island on 30 November were men.
Despite slightly more vacancies than this time last year, the figures show that people are remaining registered as actively seeking work for longer.
