COST OF FLYING TO THE UK SET TO SOAR

Local tax experts are warning, it's going to cost islanders more to fly to
the UK in the future.

Alistair Darling announced his first budget yesterday.

During his speach he said there was going to be changes to UK airport tax
legislation.

It doesn't look like good news for the Bailiwick, the price of flights to the
mainland should increase significantly over the next two years.

Not good for the Tourist Industry...

flying from the islands is expensive enough now.i do feel our so called takes advantage of our lack of choice of airlines to charge what they like .pure greed imo.

Another nail in the coffin for our tourist industry . Again only the well off will be able to afford to fly . You see Condor will hike up prices also so we will be stuck here.
