Election Exit Surveys

Election Exit Surveys

Dear All

Last Election we took what were the 88 candidates into a faux Island Wide Voting Survey and gave you all 20 votes. It produced some fascinating results; remarkably it showed that Brian de Jersey polled in at 49 and would have lost his seat IF it had been and Island Wide election; that however did translate to his demise in the District elections.

Critically though Wendy Morgan did well in our poll, although she did actually lose her seat in the 2008 election – so we can’t point out one interesting insight without balancing out where the prophecy didn’t come to pass.

This year we are doing something different; it’s cock-on-a-block time and are going for a full blown Exit Survey on a per district basis.

To that end I invite you to send this link http://eepurl.com/bY0kn to as many people you know who may have an interest in getting involved in this poll.

On a personal note: Will one of you please, please stand in the Vale – the recent ‘cuckoo-candidate’ is starting to spook us a little bit.

Kind Regards

Dear All

Election 2012 - Exit Survey

Thank you for your efforts last week in gaining more people to our broadcast list for our Election Poll. Here goes for with the first broadcast to gauge the likely success or otherwise of the declared candidates.

On the link you will be taken to the online survey and will be presented with the 7 districts. Ideally we’d ask you to vote in your district only but, it’s an imperfect world and if so inclined feel free to vote in one or all districts. Like the election proper your voting is limited by the amount of available seats in any district. You don’t have to use all of your votes but you can’t vote for any more than the allocated seats.

On this survey you will be able to edit your vote. We will mail you once more after the 6thApril asking you to either review your submission or use your vote then.

Click the link to the survey:
