I learned last nigh...well actually this morning when the IT man came to the rescue...
Last night I had just answered an email and opened the next one , when a "security alert"from Spybot appeared on my computer telling me that I had just picked up an impressive array of "nasties" and"click here to fix the problem" the idiot I am I did just that...and that is when the actual virus got it .
Apparently that is the new way to infect your computer! The warning told me that my computer was trying to send my debit card detail to unknown sources.
I immediately called my Bank and asked them to cancel my card.
as my computer was frozen I had to call Nigel to the rescue...
he asked me to pass on the above and said if it happens click on the red cross...if the warning comes back, switch off the cp. and start again.
He also asked me to warn you about using Internet Explorer for your on line it is not very safe...
Well...I have done my good deed for the day..LOL
