Supermarket Packaging

Post by Bouzat on Sat 21 Jan 2012, 6:31 pm

Haven't posted here for a while. Has anyone else noticed that a lot of the plastic packaging used by a certain new supermarket is not recyclable? M&S's generally is, and they were also using some food packaging which was just like clear plastic but claimed to be made from cornstarch. I suggest environment should look into this. Styrofoam etc. containers from takeaways should also not be allowed - see how many are littering town or the harbour after the weekend. Perhaps we should take a leaf out of Herm's book!

How much deeper would the oceans be, if they weren't full of sponges?
