Stage and screen


Rockapella is at the Jersey Opera House on 28 November

On Sunday 28 November one of the worlds leading acapella groups will be gracing the Jersey Opera House stage.
Rockapella have played theatres all over the world and were discovered by American film maker Spike Lee.
Rockapella comprise some of the greatest vocal talents of their generation.
They have played on Broadway, off-Broadway, for Disney and have shared the stage with Tina Turner, Phil Collins, Julie Andrews, Kenny Rogers and Boyz II Men.
Entrance to the gig on 28 November is £20 and tickets are available from the Opera House box office.

Rockapella is at the Jersey Opera House on 28 November

On 19 November Bruce Foxton , formerly of the Jam, will return to the island to play The Drift at the Royal Yacht hotel.
Foxton will be playing bass along with Mark Brzezicki on drums and Russell Hastings on lead vocals.
They are being brought over by Firethorn Productions and will be playing the Jam's back catalogue. Entry is £15 in advance or £20 on the door from 19:00. strictly 18+.

The Jersey Evening Post Homelife show is at Fort Regent from 12 - 14 November. Entry is £3 for adults and £1 for children.
There will be exhibitors from the UK, Guernsey, Jersey and France showing a range of home and lifestyle products and services.
From home decor and interior design to water features. There will be gadgets, health, lifestyle, beauty and technology.

  • There will be a charity Christmas fair for Jersey charities at St Paul's Centre in St Helier on Saturday 13 November from 10:00. Entry is free.
  • The annual charity soup kitchen is taking place in the Royal Square on 30 November 2011 from 11:00 until 14:00. Donation of £2 for a bowl.
