Call for public vote on Ministers.

Call for public vote on Ministers.
A Guernsey deputy has called for the election of ministers in the States to be decided by the public.
Currently ministers of departments are chosen after the elections by States members.
Retiring Deputy Dan Le Cheminant said without island-wide voting locals views were not reflected.
He said the current system could allow a situation where someone who
scraped through a parish election could become a minister of a
department.
IMO Mr Le Cheminant is correct they should be voted in by us the public i would go one step further and suggest that the Policy Council should also be voted in by us. What do you think ?
