Wasting money again on treats, tut tut a small dash of sugar on the porridge should be enough of a treat but not to often. We cannot afford to be extravagent all the time.

I passed this place at lunchtime yesterday and the queue was out the door.

No wonder we're an island of fat people with a massive bill for tackling obesity.

If you have a problem Technophobe - just go on a diet and stay out of Pasty Presto - but trying out a new venue should not tar everybody with the same brush!!!!!

You'll see my post said that I "passed" Pasty Presto, not that I went in!! I have no intention whatsoever of eating about 600-750 calories worth of pasty at lunchtime (or at any other time come to that).

Give it a few months and watch every blubberpuss on the island descend on the place like flies around s***, drooling at the prospect of shoving a combination of fat-laden pastry, fatty meat and a few token chunks of vegetables down their more then accommodating throats!

I knew that would get you going LOL - as for me (she says smuggly) as a vegetarian I would not be inclined to go in there under any circumstances!!! Don't like pastry in any shape or form whatsoever - and as for lard...................purleeze!!!!

I wouldn't be that smug about being vegetarian - hippos and elephants fall into that category as well don't they................

I think I might pop along after work and watch all the fatties fighting over the day's surplus. It'll be like a sumo contest............
