Re: Pasty Presto
Technophobe - you can get very successful treatment for Cacomorphobia!!! (and any other phobias you may have) Then you could stop worrying about the effect Pasty Presto is having on the population..... and start living your own life

Re: Pasty Presto
Karma -it's not that I have a phobia about fat people, it's just that I object to several issues involving them:-
1) Health costs of treating obesity-related diseases
2) The amount of space they take up on the bus
3) Ditto for an aeroplane
4) Ditto for a train
5) The way that fat girls / women seem to think they look good in tops that expose their bulging stomachs.
6) Ditto re low cut jeans with a g-string showing. Haven't they got any friends who can tell them how ridiculous they look?
Apart from that they're fine!!! Although admittedly I wouldn't fancy one of them sitting on me, or waking up next to one for that matter..............

Re: Pasty Presto
Maybe it's Venustraphobia you have Tech as I see no mention of fat men with beer guts in shorts that reveal unmentionable 'divides' when they bend down to try and reach their trainer (oxymoron?) laces to do them up!!! and T-shirts stretched taut across the aforementioned beer guts!! not to mention breasts that would do Jordan out of a job!!! - they also must think they look good (maybe they really do not have a best friend either) surely they don't all eat at Pasty Presto

No, not perfect in any way. It just makes me laugh when all the "large people" are drooling over fat-laden stodge (which they obviously eat too much of already) whilst at the same time having a go at a young girl just because she likes to get high every now and again. Fat people cost far, far more in terms of health facilities (diabetes, heart problems etc etc) and the problem's getting worse every year.
There have been innumerable postings in various topics joking about getting drunk, now we have people worshipping pastry, despite alcohol abuse and obesity being two of the biggest challenges facing society, a lot bigger than the perceived problem of legal highs.
You carry on though, eat a couple of pasties, washed down with ten pints, at least it's all acceptable to PC Plod and Customs. Oh, and by the way, there's a lot of truth in the old marketing slogan, "Alcohol - helping fat people to get laid throughout the centuries".

Re: Pasty Presto
Ha ha, you could be right KK!!
Thistle, yes I do drink, and yes I do occasionally indulge in naughty foods. I'm not obese though, and my cholesterol and blood pressure readings are absolutely fine.
But please don't try and argue that people will be going to PP for the occasional "treat". That may well be true for some (for those who don't work in town etc) but believe me there will be plenty of people there EVERY SINGLE LUNCHTIME, and maybe after work as well to scoop up the cut price pasties that they haven't sold!! Just like there are people who I see virtually every day in another shop, buying for instance (just for themselves) a large filled baguette + large sausage roll + bag of crisps + bar of chocolate + DIET coke!!!!!
It never fails to make me laugh as they waddle out of the door, no doubt pleased with themselves that by buying a diet coke they're watching their weight!
