Creasey's Expand into the Old Woolies
I just heard that Creaseys are to take over the old Woolworth Building
Looks like the food hall will move into the site and eventually the M & S clothing sections will also move
Well, going to have to rename the high steet to Creasey Avenue..lol

Re: Creasey's Expand into the Old Woolies
yes same with me thistle but I am not over the moon at all at this move as I believe it would have been much better to have something new come to Guernsey and take over the building. I know I am not the only one who shares this thought. We don't need any more m and s food halls - we have enough.

What we want and what we get are two different things Thistle.I've no doubt you'd like Primark/BHS/Tesco/Aldi ad nauseum. But we don't have a population large enough to support these low margin, high volume companies.Just thank heaven you live in Guernsey and be content.
