a non event (castel)

Islanders in 1 electoral district are waiting to see if it's worth voting….
In Castel there still aren't enough candidates for a contest. There are
currently only 6 names on the list with seven spaces available.
Nominations for the general election close at 4pm tomorrow. Deputy
Chief Minister Stuart Falla, who is a Castel Deputy at the moment, has
now ruled himself out of the running.

i hope someone will put their name in .....we need to have an elected goverment

Looks like you will be voting..lol

this is exactly why we need island wide voting.any candidate can stand in any parish.we the voters do not have that luxury.how it would or could be implemented is a matter for the future states.i just hope that we will have a fairer system in place before the 2012 elections .
