World Heritage Site

Post by GD on Mon 16 Jun 2008, 7:40 pm

Jersey should be made a World Heritage site.

That's according to Dr Kate Clark who was a key note speaker at the island's first Cultural Conference over the weekend.

Other sites listed by UNESCO around the world include Australia's Great Barrier Reef, Stonehenge and Mont St Michel.

Speaking on yesterday's Sunday Roast, Dr Clark said it's better to collectively make the Channel Islands a World Heritage site.

So is he right?
