Light aircraft in crash landing

Post by GD on Sat 10 May 2008, 5:14 pm

A light aircraft has crash landed at Jersey Airport. No one has been hurt.

The starboard undercarriage of a Cessna 310 collapsed on landing at just after 12.20.

The pilot and owner of the aircraft Ken Faulkner was uninjured. He was the only person on board.

The runway was closed for just over an hour while the damaged aircraft was removed. Several incoming flights were diverted and others were delayed (from CIonline)
