Lottery !
Best of both worlds for lottery
The Channel Islands could have the best of both worlds in any move to be included in the National Lottery.
National tickets could go on sale locally before the end of next year.
But
the islands intend to carry on with the Christmas Draw which continues
to break records and bring in hundreds of thousands of pounds for local
good causes.
In the meantime, 80% of Jersey's surplus from last
year is likely to be handed over to the Association of Jersey
Charities. The States are being asked to approve the transfer of funds.
Taken from Channel on line.
One Question why does it take so long. Your thoughts

i totally agree with your sentiments SB.charities in the islands would in all probability receive more income from the national lottery than from this silly scratchcard system we have now.i very rarely buy a local ticket now but do play the uk lottoery twice a week.bring it in now and stop pussyfooting around

Re: Lottery !
I think we could do with includes in the national lottery. Any winners would be advertised as well, thus giving the island some free advertising! i would play for sure!
