Islanders with French houses could suffer penalties

Post by GD on Wed 09 Apr 2008, 8:19 pm

Islanders with second homes in France need to start thinking about their French Income Tax returns.

Due to France not havign a double tax agreement with the Channel Islands it can be a complex and time consuming exercise.

French Tax expert Virginie De-flassieux from PKF Guernsey's warning if they don't get their forms in by the end of June they could suffer possible penalties.

Sounds like the Fun of having a French property could be very expensive...
