Faster Broadband for some.

Homes to receive faster broadband

Faster broadband services will be available to hundreds of households in Guernsey from next week.
Cable and Wireless (C&W) has picked 600 customers to be upgraded to help trial the new speed.
About two thirds of local households have a broadband internet
connection, but C&W has been working to upgrade the service to two
megabytes per second. Feedback from users initially using the service will help determine a schedule for rolling it out island-wide.

If no problems are found, the company will begin to upgrade other households over the next few weeks.

The highest speed currently available to homes is one megabyte per second.

All this for 2 meg and they have up to 8 meg in the UK as standard. Your thoughts ?
The most successful people are those who are good at plan B.
