Children rescued in boat fire

Post by GD on Sat 10 May 2008, 5:16 pm

Two young children were taken to hospital in Guernsey after fire broke out on a boat.

The lifeboat brought in six casualties yesterday evening.

A two-year-old girl and a boy aged 12 needed hospital treatment for smoke inhalation. The other four were checked out by ambulance crew at the scene (from CI online)

Its great that no one was hurt but it begs the question should pleasure boats be subject to safety checks ?.
The most successful people are those who are good at plan B.
