States chief officers claim £30,000 in expenses
THE 20 States chief officers claimed £30,000 in expenses between them last year, the JEP can reveal.
Figures showing chief officers’ reimbursed personal expenses, hospitality claims and relocation expenses have been released following an application by the JEP under the Code of Practice on Public Access to Official Information.
Last year’s biggest spender on hospitality was Health chief executive Mike Pollard, whose £3,215 in claims was higher than 2007’s top claimer, Economic Development chief officer Mike King, who claimed £2,925.31 last year.
Of the 20 chief officers listed, the same members made up the top five both years running for hospitality claims.(from JEP)
