Charge for Policing at Events

Events like Jersey Live should pay for policing.

That's the message from a scrutiny panel who've been considering the charge.

They'll present a report to the states today.

Panel Chairperson Deputy Deirdre Mezbourian says to make it fair they'll be recommending all profit- making events are considered for the charge. (from Channel 103FM)

Should these events be made to pay?

Don't see why the organiser's shouldn't pay, they are making money out of the events
