'Care Home Claim': Investigation costing £25,000 a week

A Jersey deputy is trying to find out the police's overtime bill for their investigation into alleged child abuse at Haut de la Garenne.

Deputy Sean Power claims the cost of putting up officers in two hotels is costing £25,000 a week.

Deputy Power also wants to know how much cash has been put aside to cover possible costs in 2009 and 2010.

Probally find out that this operation will cost the tax payers near a million by the time it is finished...
