An eye-watering new attraction is set to give a whole new view of Jersey.
A 60 metre observation wheel, The Jersey Eye, is the islands newest landmark
attraction and it is being assembled at the Jardin de la Mer, on the
Waterfront in St Helier , ready for its launch flight on Sunday lst June at
1.00pm. The Jersey Eye will carry 240 passengers each 15 minute cycle.
The Eye will give a 360-degree panoramic vehicle for locals and visitors alike to gain a unique and splendid view of the beauty of Jersey.
The Eye will be open from the lst June to the 5th October. It will be shipped on Condor ferries from a special berth in Portsmouth on 10 huge 20 meter trailers.
Edward Mellors, Director of The Jersey Eye said: "The Eye is a phenomenon, it is a graceful addition to the islands attractions. Silent in its movement, it can transport its passengers to new vistas never before
visited."
The price of a flight is £7.00 for adults and £5.00 for 1.3metre and below
and Wheelchair occupants are provided for.

"Kindness costs nothing, it is such a small gesture to make,
but has such a HUGE impact on people,
which makes it worth it's weight in gold"
