Vandals smash Bouet
Guernsey police are appealing for information after a vandalism spree has left a number of houses with broken doors and smashed windows.
5 buildings in the Bouet were damaged between 9.30 Wednesday evening... and 7 Thursday morning.
The trouble is the un-occupied bulidings will attract this sort of attention, the sooner they move the rest of the residents out and flatten the old estate the better

Hi G D
I agree with your comments about my estate, it's never ending here the police must be down here 6 days a week. I was coming up the path to my block after going out for the evening, about 2 weeks ago, when three youngsters came running towards me and pushed me against the fence by our washing lines. Before this I heard a crash of glass, I went to the end by the main road and saw they had smashed up the telephone box.
i could go on and on with things that's happened here but I guess I would be on here for ages. I will be glad when the states offer me alternative accomodation. cheers GD
Best Regards

Re: Vandals smash Bouet
I think they need zero tolerance on estates like this. Police need more powers. After all, somebody must know who's doing it, and i wouldn't be suprised if its the same lot every time. String the fookers up by the short and curlies i say...
Re: Vandals smash Bouet
i was down on the grand bouet last week and it is looking so dirty and dilapidated down there.the streets need cleaning, there is broken glass all over the road.you are right crunchy the sooner all the residents are offered new accommodation and the estate is knocked down the better it will be.
Re: Vandals smash Bouet
they need to catch those who make the mess
this cost us the tax payers thousands a year to clean up
About time the police stated to give on the spot fines for litter louts
even those who drop a fag end and the island is littered with them
Our island will sink in rubbish soon
Educate the youngsters now and we will benifit later !
