No free entry to the Battle Parade

There will be no free look at this year's Jersey Battle of Flowers.
Organisers had hoped a sponsor would step forward to keep the free viewing area which was introduced last year and rated very successful.
This year's event will now be ticket only, costing from £5 for adults standing to £25 seating in the grandstand.
The Battle of Flowers commitee have had a huge task on their hands this year to juggle the books to accomodate the record number of floats set to take part in August's parade.
Why don't the States Sponsor this....

I agree GD prehaps the States could sponsor a free aera for the Pensioners and the less well off families to go any view this event
