Lyndon the Politician

Wilf LePage the farmer ...

... was in the fertilized egg business. He had several hundred young layers (hens), called 'pullets' and eight or ten roosters, whose job was to fertilize the eggs. The farmer kept records and any rooster that didn't perform went into the soup pot and was replaced. That took an awful lot of his time so he bought a set of tiny bells and attached them to his roosters. Each bell had a different tone so Wilf and his advisers in the finance industry could tell from a distance, which rooster was performing. Now they could sit on the porch and fill out an efficiency report simply by listening to the bells.

The farmer and his friends in the finance industry
favourite
rooster was old Lyndon, and a very fine specimen he was too. But on this particular morning Wilf Le Page noticed old Lyndon's bell hadn't rung at all! Wilf went to investigate. The other roosters were chasing pullets, bells-a-ringing. The pullets, hearing the roosters coming, would run for cover. But to farmer Wilf Le Page's amazement, Lyndon had his bell in his beak, so it couldn't ring. He'd sneak up on a pullet, do his job and walk on to the next one.

Wilf Le Page was so proud of Lyndon, he entered him in the North Show Fair and Lyndon became an overnight sensation among the judges.

The result:

The judges not only awarded Lyndon the No Bell Piece Prize but they also awarded him the Pulletsurprise as well.

Clearly Lyndon was a politician in the making: Who else but a politician could figure out how to win two of the most highly coveted awards on our planet by being the best at sneaking up on the populace and screwing them when they weren't paying attention.

Do you know a Pullitician called Lyndon?

Interesting how someone can be so unpopular with the electorate and then miraculously become the new Chief Minister, is that democratic?
LT has no where to go, if he has failed at everything in his life, then the next four years are going to be very telling for the island. Does everything he touches turn to Gold or does it turn to dust.

Dust would be the answer . From what i am told he is trying to throw his weight around already lets hope the newbies do not get pushed in things they do not agree with just to please him.

Well one thing is for sure, the chief minister wants an increase in population and does not care a damn if the Guernsey indigenous populaiton becomes diluted to such an extent we resemble a county of the UK.
Watch this space. Greed and money springs to mind

I think you will find its people like GIBA , IOD ,and the Finance Industry who are pulling his strings and a few others also and the sad thing is they believe these scare tactics . We need a few strong people in the States to argue there point of view.
