Money troubles -kick the environment
Apparently the Town (Millenium, ha , ha) Park funding has been withdrawn. St Helier Constable Crowcroft is to fight the proposal. So after 12 years, and promises to have the Park, the ministers have reneged on the deal -or to put it in their terms: the money to finish the park could be raised through a plan for housing on the site.
At the same time the Constable for St Brelades, who is also the Transport and Technical Services minister has said that recycling plans will have to be delayed, because of cash shortages. Has no one told him recycling usually saves money?
While all this is going on ,the plans to spend £44million on supporting the economy is to go ahead. :thistle 1:
