2 Companies seek Bio-Fuel contract
Over 1,000 litres of recycled cooking oil have been imported into Guernsey by
2 local companies.
St Peter Port Services and Guernsey Recycling are hoping to set up a local
Bio-fuel production plant.
They're tendering for the contract to collect and recycle Guernsey's waste
cooking oil.
Currently a similar scheme in our sister island means Jersey Telecom and
Jersey Post run all their vehicle fleets on the recycled fuel.
Trouble is from what I have been told it is not that Eco-Friendly
