Newly-planted trees are ripped out

Recently planted trees at Amherst School in Guernsey have been ripped out of the ground.

A new climbing frame has also been damaged. And benches and planters have been turned over and broken.

The school playground has been littered with broken glass, and the roof of a sheltered bench area has been smashed.

The vandalism happened at some time between 4pm Saturday and 8.45am Sunday.(CTV News)

Mindless, senseless, what else can I say

I don't know why i am surprised when i here something like this well its not so much surprised as saddened . When you speak to people about this sort of thing they say "its the society we live in nowadays"

To me that's a sad excuse , the onus should be on the parents whether they are young kids or teenagers .and if caught and are not of age to be prosecuted the parents should be.

this is very sad news .i only had a guided tour on thursday and saw how much work the children had from this .the new stuff in the playground was so nice and the children loved it
they had so many plans for these friut trees
i hope who ever did thius gets caught and is made to pay
