Re: Chief Minister - Lyndon Trott Wins
A sixth and final candidate has been announced for the position of Chief Minister in Guernsey.
Deputy McNulty Bauer joins Deputies Adam, Brouard, De Lisle, Flouquet and Trott in the contest to lead the Policy Council. Nominations have now closed, and the States will vote on Thursday morning to choose the Chief Minister.

Re: Chief Minister - Lyndon Trott Wins
Well, my tip is Dep Flouquet will win with CMB his Deputy. However, the reality is Trott will win and Dep Flouquet will be his Deputy. Having met both CMB & BF during my electioneering I must say they complimented each other and were civil. It could be argued that Trott is owned by GIBA so therefore compromised, having recently had a heel in the door of local politics ego’s win in the end and it's said GIBA has long arms.
Re: Chief Minister - Lyndon Trott Wins
I really hope Trott does not get Chief Minster imo the electorate of the vale sent out a crystal clear message in the way they voted. And i am not sure he would have even got in if we had island wide voting as 90% of the people i have spoken to have no confidence in him whatsoever and that includes a large number that work in Finance.
Having listened to the interview with Bernard today he seems to have pulled his act together and spoke a lot of sense.

The Catel voter's was no different with Flouquet, It's going to be a close vote
Still wish Stuart Falla had stayed..

looks like we are stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea
Re: Chief Minister - Lyndon Trott Wins
I would choose Lyndon Trott, he`s proven he`s not scared of making big decisions and seems to have a good idea of what he`s doing
Re: Chief Minister - Lyndon Trott Wins
why should a man who has if rumour is correct failed as a fisherman,accountant/banker/and insurance broker be in charge of our island.this twit should be made to stay on the backbenches and be told to keep quiet.he is arrogant and needs bringing into the real world.my choice would probably be al brouard or hunter adam.
