Hospice to give away another million!

It could be you this year. Jersey Hospice will make somebody £1 million richer with their annual lottery.
6,000 tickets go on sale next week, that's 1,000 more than last year. A £1.3 million pound prize fund is up for grabs. Giving you a one in six hundred chance of winning at least £10,000.
The draw takes place at the Grand Hotel on the 25th July and will be broadcast live on Channel Television.
Last year a syndicate of ten friends won the top prize. Watching the draw live on television none of them could believe their numbers had come up. Each taking home a £100,000, the winnings went towards weddings, honeymoons and paying off mortgages.
But those who the Lottery benefits the most are the patients of Jersey Hospice Care.
It costs £2 million a year to run the service, caring for people with cancer and motor neurone disease. Last years lottery raised £400,000, essential funding that went into the day to day running of the home.
Katrina Bell, from Jersey Hospice Care said: "Contrary to what people believe there is actually a lot of laughter in the hospice when they come up to Clarkson House, they're quite surprised. We also have therapies and the bereavement counselling as well as the IPU and of course we need to fund raising to make that go every year".
Tickets are only available from Lloyds TSB on Broad Street: Opening hours are as follows: Monday 8.30am – 4.30pm Tuesday 8.30am – 4.30pm Wednesday 8.30am – 4.30pm Thursday 9.30am – 4.30pm Friday 8.30am – 5pm Saturday 9.30am – 12.30pm (from CI Tv)
