New register for gas installers in Guernsey
The Commerce and Employment Department said last year Guernsey would follow the UK in using the Gas Safe Register from 1 April. The island's database is currently maintained by the Council for Registered Gas Installers. It said the only change for the public would be a new logo on the identity cards worn by registered installers. Members of the public wishing to make enquiries or complain will, from the 1 April 2010, have to contact Gas Safe through its website or by calling 0800 408 5500. | |

No, will be the same, the company holds the registration. Same with oil.
As it is totally unpoliced, it does not make much difference at the moment.
