Electricity price is going up

Electricity bills will be going up in Alderney at the end of the month.
The rise is put down to the higher cost of diesel which has gone up by 70% in the last 12 months.
Alderney Electricity say they'll be adjusting their prices monthly to take into account wide swings in the cost of diesel.
Similarly, the price for heating oil will be adjusted up or down every Monday from now on.
The company say they believe it's the fairest and simplest way to deal with a complex and fast moving situation. (from CI online)

Wouldn't be a surprise if for just once we read about some prices actually going down.
