Consumers could pay more for electric in Alderney

Post by GD on Wed 11 Jun 2008, 3:04 pm

States Members in the island will consider the increase at their meeting next week.
Increases in oil prices and the need to finance a capital investment programme may prompt the States to raise the tariff on each unit of electricity.
The present flat rate tariff and fuel cost component for a unit of electricity in Alderney is 36.47p.
It is being proposed that the maximum permitted tariff allowed by law is amended to 50p.

Its all going up....
The One and Only....
