Record amount of alcohol seized

A record amount of alcohol was confiscated from underage young people in Jersey at the weekend.
Honorary Police said 64 cans of lager and more than 150 cans and bottles of other alcohol were seized in St Brelade on Saturday night.
Jersey Police and the island's parishes have been working together to deal with the issue of underage drinking.
Parents are being asked to check where their children are at night and to ensure they have no access to alcohol.
And that was from on parish....
